Terms of Service - Subred Monitor

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Subred Monitor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Description of Service

Subred Monitor provides a keyword monitoring service for Reddit that allows users to track mentions of specific keywords across subreddits and receive alerts when matches are found.

The Service is provided on an experimental and "as-is" basis. You acknowledge and agree that:

The technology underlying this Service is experimental and under active development
Features, functionality, and performance may change without notice
The Service may experience downtime, errors, or interruptions
Results may not be complete, accurate, or timely
The Service is not intended for mission-critical applications

3. Subscription Plans and Pricing

The Service offers various subscription tiers with different features and limits. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees associated with your selected plan.

Plan Limits Subject to Change

You acknowledge and agree that:

Package limits (including but not limited to keyword limits, subreddit limits, alert frequency, and API rate limits) are approximate and may not be precisely enforced
We reserve the right to modify, adjust, or change plan limits at any time with or without notice
Actual service delivery may vary from advertised limits due to technical constraints, Reddit API limitations, or other factors
We may impose additional limits or restrictions as necessary to maintain service quality for all users
Changes to plan limits do not constitute grounds for refund of subscription fees

3.1 Billing and Payments

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan). You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for all applicable fees.

3.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Upon cancellation:

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods
You will lose access to paid features when your subscription period ends

3.3 Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods, unused features, or downtime. By subscribing, you acknowledge that you have evaluated the Service during any available trial period or have otherwise determined that the Service meets your needs.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose
Not attempt to circumvent any usage limits or access controls

5. Prohibited Uses

The Service relies on third-party services, including but not limited to Reddit's API. You acknowledge that:

We have no control over third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or performance
Changes to third-party services may affect the functionality of our Service
You must comply with the terms of service of any third-party platforms accessed through our Service

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation
Warranties that the Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SUBRED MONITOR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
Any damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Any damages exceeding the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Subred Monitor and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service

Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content or data you submit through the Service

11. Service Modifications and Termination

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Subred Monitor regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
